If you think you deserve more, whether in life relationships or business, you probably do. There are no rules to this thing we call life. Except in my opinion only one! The Value on a micro level it means something different to everyone yet covers all, even morals. What does value mean to you guys? If you value life, you wouldn't risk it, such as practitioners of violence, crimes etc...
If you value money then you have to value the consumer. You become wealthy by giving a value exchange to consumers not what you find as value, their value...
If you value your time you then you use it wisely, and so forth.
Everyone that values something acts accordingly, except the people that are lost souls, because there are no rules to life people travel down the wrong paths based off childhood, trauma and it plays itself out bad begets bad and only ends in 2 ways no matter what. If you value happiness, then in order to find it you have to get to the roots of the cause, and not fill the void with materialism, an overly, unhealthy addiction to a lover or relationships, durable happiness comes from inside out.
It's a whole other form of happiness that many miss. However everything work, relationship, material possessions has its place, but anytime a person over achieve, over compensate or stay in a constant suppressed emotional state, there is personal value that needs to be attended to.
If you value materialism, a relationship or work more than your own happiness, this is indeed unhealthy to your esteem and begins to be the reason for being happy versus actually being happy, then you may fall into this category of using outside stimuli to feel the void of true internal happiness, it's normal but takes you to a bad place overtime because of surprising certain emotions.
